Dr. Bhimaraya Metri

Abstract

Bhimaraya Metri is, currently, Director at IIM Nagpur Prior to this, he served as the Director at IIM Tiruchirappalli. He also held Dean positions at L&T Institute of Project Management, IMI, MDI and In-charge PhD prorgammes at BITS Pilani. He has taught at the undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA and Ph.D. level programmes. He has published several research articles and is serving on the editorial boards of journals, and leadership roles in professional associations.

Biography

Dr. Metri is highly engaged at executive education, conducting programmes for Board of Directors/ Vice Chancellors/Directors of HEIs and taught courses for senior executives of private, public sector companies and government officials of many countries.

Dr. Metri is active in several national and international committees, professional associations and has volunteered his time to community service organizations. With over 15 years of leadership and management excellence on numerous high-profile B Schools, he is recipient of several awards. He is only serving IIM Director to receive country’s prestigious AIMA Kewal Nohria Award for academic excellence in management education. Dr. Metri received his PhD from IIT Powai, Mumbai.
